May 2005 Youth Bike/Skate Safety Festival

This event was co-sponsored by the HBBCA.   Over 200 kids attended the event.  The HBBCA was responsible for the bike safety-related elements of the festival.    Carole Beaton, Will Dvorak and Rick Knapp fitted kids for free helmets and taught them how to change a flat tire.   Girl Scouts administered a bike safety quiz.   Will Spurling, Henderson Center Bicycles, provided free bike safety inspections. The HBBCA donated a free 21-speed Trek mountain bike as the grand prize for drawing.
